BioThis is my . . .3rd, yes 3rd attempt to start one of these journals. The first journal was started out of a fit of petulance, the second try was an attempt to be something and someone I'm not (i lost the address) and this one, well this one is b/c I'm really, phenomenally bored at work. Will i stick with it, or will it, like the rest, die a spectacularly unimpressive death of disuse? Stick around and we'll find out together. . . .some time latter . . .well lookie here if i haven't gone and kept the damn thing going. o.O Who knew?
Well i suppose this means that I've actually got to put a bit of myself in here now. Lessee, I'm in my mid twenties hiding--some what effectively i might add--in the land of fanfction. I love to read, write and travel, but mostly read. I live in Georgia (the state not the country) and am a resident of the Atlanta suburbs. It has taken me a long time to learn to like the south. In my youth i dreamed of the day that i could escape to the North where people did not glory in the past barbarism of their forefathers--weird being a history buff i know--but in the jaundiced years of my old age I've come to the realization that everyone--North, South, East and West--is equally idiotic. Geographic location is not a requirement for idiocy, who knew. And i like the weather down here, so I'm staying. I am working towards obtaining my Ph.d in Religious history. And in answer to the question i *know* you're thinking, the answer is-- what ever the hell i want to do with it. Mostly i just love to learn and I enjoy academia for the structure it provides in the pursuit of knowledge. Honestly I'd be a professional student if they'd let me but sadly that is not an option.
